The U.S. president’s announcement comes after the most recent ceasefire negotiations made no substantial progress.
The Russian foreign minister was speaking at a security conference in Moscow, where representatives from the U.S. embassy participated for the first time since Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
The talks will focus on “German support for Ukraine and efforts to secure a ceasefire” with Russia to end more than three years of war.
The Kremlin cited “a series of provocative steps” that Kyiv has taken “with the support of some European countries.”
The U.S. president’s patience with the Kremlin is running out.
“Every day the enemy attempts to cross the Russian state border,” the Kremlin chief said.
When asked about the failure of the peace talks in Istanbul, Parolin said the situation was “difficult” and “dramatic.”
The Russian president had proposed to resume peace talks between the two countries.

The findings come as Austria faces rising anxiety over Russian aggression, and public unease over mass immigration.
