The United States has issued a high-stakes call to its international partners, framing a new U.S.-led naval coalition as the essential response to Iran’s closure of the Strait of Hormuz.
The U.S. said the PA’s statehood campaign and legal actions against Israel helped derail Gaza peace talks and hardened Hamas’ stance on releasing hostages.
State Department spokesman Tammy Bruce said the country’s actions are “unacceptable” when it has a “window of opportunity to reverse course and choose a path of peace.”
