The Russian gas company reassured EU its gas is flowing normally.

According to the Russian energy giant Gazprom, the company is fulfilling European contracts after a German pipeline operator, Gascade, reported that flows via the Yamal-Europe pipeline from Russia through Poland had stopped, EUobserver reports.

Meanwhile, Gazprom signed a new five-year deal on supplies to Moldova. The Eastern European country declared a state of emergency last month and started buying gas from other countries after its contract with Gazprom expired at the end of September. On October 28, the Moldovan government and Gazprom announced a new price formula for a five-year agreement to keep gas flowing, RFE reports.
