The number of migrants seeking asylum last year was the sixth-highest recorded in Germany’s history, exceeded only by the number of newcomers who entered between 1991 and 1993, during the Balkan wars, and those who came during the European Migrant Crisis of 2015-16.
Until now, all battle tanks that have been delivered to Ukraine—from Poland and the Czech Republic—have been of Soviet design. The Challenger 2, however, is the main tank of the British army.
“The results speak for themselves. 97% reject Brussels’ misguided sanctions. Brussels must review its sanctions policy and find a new strategy. We need peace, not new sanctions!” Hungarian MP Balázs Orbán said on the consultation’s results.
