Roberto de Mattei is an Italian historian. He is the author of Saint Pius V, The Legendary Pope Who Excommunicated Queen Elizabeth I, Standardized the Mass, and Defeated the Ottoman Empire, published in 2021 by Sophia Institute. He currently serves as the President of the Lepanto Foundation in Rome. He is also the director of the monthly magazine, Radici Cristiane.
