Five suspects are in pre-trial detention in Czechia with two others in custody abroad under European arrest warrants, according to police.

Seven were detained in connection with an arson attack on a military-linked facility in the city of Pardubice—which authorities are investigating as a potential anti-Israeli terrorist act.

The fire broke out on March 20th at a warehouse used by LPP Holding, a company involved in developing drones and other military equipment. No injuries were reported.

According to police spokesman Jakub Vincalek, five suspects are currently in pre-trial detention in the Czech Republic, while two others are being held abroad under European arrest warrants. One suspect is in custody in Bulgaria and another in Slovakia, with the authorities awaiting their extradition. Police said they are continuing to cooperate with partners across several European countries as the investigation develops.

The case is being treated as a possible act of terrorism after a group claimed responsibility in emails sent to Czech media, describing the targeted site as “a key production centre for Israeli weapons.” However, LPP Holding has denied producing Israeli drones, stating that a previously discussed cooperation project with Israeli firm Elbit Systems never materialised.
