An American national is among those facing terrorism charges for an attack on a major Czech drone manufacturer.

The investigation into the arson attack at LPP Holding has taken an international turn following a coordinated sweep by Czech and Slovak police.

Three suspects—including a U.S. citizen—are now facing terrorism charges after a blaze gutted part of the defense facility in Pardubice.

While a radical anti-Israel group has claimed responsibility, citing the company’s alleged ties to Israel’s Elbit Systems, the geopolitical plot thickens: LPP is a key exporter of drones to Ukraine. This has led Czech investigators to look beyond local activism, scrutinizing a potential Russian “hybrid warfare” link aimed at disrupting military supply chains in Central Europe.

The group behind the strike claims to have exfiltrated “restricted documents” during the raid. They have issued an ultimatum to LPP Holding, threatening to leak sensitive military data unless the firm publicly denounces the “occupation of Palestine” and severs all Israeli partnerships.

With the Prague High Prosecutor requesting immediate custody for the detainees, the case has become a high-stakes puzzle for Western intelligence, highlighting how the 2026 Middle East conflict and the war in Ukraine are increasingly merging into a single, volatile front of European sabotage.
