After consultations held last month at the Armenian Defence Ministry, the UK and Armenia have formally committed to working together on their regional and international security goals.
The agreement will update the existing arrangement between the two countries since 2015, while giving Britain insight into the Armenian military’s modernisation process.
The announcement slipped out as UK PM Keir Starmer began publicising his government’s Strategic Defence Review, which to date has neither mobilised public support nor offered much in the way of concrete spending commitments.
