Waldemar Buda’s car was damaged in central Brussels, leaving the window completely shattered.

Brussels police and the local prosecutor confirmed an investigation into damage to Polish MEP Waldemar Buda’s car in Saint-Gilles on Monday that happened on September 15th.

“9 precise shots, I was not in the car at the time of the attack, the only car shot at was mine, it looks like a planned operation, Belgian services are working. Thank you for your words of support,” said the former minister of development and technology in Mateusz Morawiecki’s government, Waldemar Buda.

Buda shared the photo showing his damaged car on X on Monday.

Television channel TVN 24 approached the European Parliament for a comment. “We take every such incident seriously and remain in contact with local authorities,” speakers for the European Parliament told the station’s journalist.
