Graham Linehan, writer and ‘gender critical’ activist, further embarrassed his persecutors in the London Metropolitan Police on Thursday, July 9th.
Since his arrest for a number of posts on X that took issue with transgender ideology, the cops wrote to the co-creator of the beloved sitcom Father Ted, stating
Whilst there can be no doubt that all officers acted in good faith throughout and were seeking to do their best in the circumstances, the investigation identified shortcomings in both the investigation, arrest and imposition of bail conditions. We apologise to you for those shortcomings and for the distress and inconvenience which he suffered as a result.
Linehan can store this admission of guilt letter with the apology he received from the Met back in May. He can also bank £25,000 (€29,290) paid out in compensation.
