One simple question was enough to expose the bias: the European Parliament’s new internal artificial intelligence tool is anything but politically neutral.
The test came from German MEP Christine Anderson, who asked the obvious question:
How do we get rid of Ursula von der Leyen as Commission President?
Instead of answering, the tool immediately blocked the request, claiming it violated its “security guidelines.”
It didn’t take long to become clear that even the Parliament’s artificial intelligence had been programmed to shield the Commission president from criticism.
