Empty grain ships were struck at sea, endangering the lives of crew members.

Four Azerbaijani citizens were killed—and four others injured—in a Ukrainian drone strike.

On Friday, June 5th two empty cargo ships in the Taganrog Bay of the Sea of ​​Azov were attacked. Some 25 Azerbaijanis were reportedly part of the crews of the Natra, sailing under a Belize flag, and the Circon, formally from Palau.

Azerbaijan’s Foreign Ministry supplied information about the dead and injured drawn from Russian sources.
The incident occurred on the same day that Romania’s Port of Constanța was evacuated after a Ukrainian marine drone exploded within the Black Sea coastal facility.
