On Saturday, February 28th, Israel announced it launched pre-emptive strikes against Iran to protect the state of Israel against threats to its security.
Initial reports indicated that the air strikes targeted Tehran and the surrounding areas. AFP reports this morning that explosions were also heard over Isfahan “and other cities” as well.
Meanwhile, Iraqi state media said Baghdad closed the country’s airspace on Saturday, following the Israeli strikes.
