The incident took place shortly after 2:00 a.m. near the Clemenceau metro station. The victim was reportedly shot in the knee, though their injuries are not considered life-threatening.
According to SudInfo, four shots were fired. A witness captured the incident on video, which reportedly shows five individuals seeking refuge in a café on Chaussée de Mons, with one appearing to limp.
Anderlecht has seen a surge in gun violence in recent months. This latest shooting adds to a growing list of such incidents in the area since the beginning of the year, including a similar event outside Clemenceau station in February.
