The Hungarian ex-PM is backing Eva Vlaardingerbroek’s remigration initiative.

Hungary’s former prime minister Viktor Orbán came out in support of the “Save Europe Act” on Tuesday, June 2nd.

The Act is a European Citizens’ Initiative which demands that

the political elite halt replacement migration, secure our borders, and protect the ethnocultural identity of European nations.

Taking to social media, Orbán declared

For years, Brussels told Europeans not to worry about migration. Then they told us not to believe our own eyes. Now they’re telling us that opposing mass migration is racist and un-European. 

Thanks to @EvaVlaar Europeans have a chance to say NO! The @SaveEuropeAct aims to remind Brussels that Europe is not a waiting room for the world. It is our home.

“@EvaVlaar” is the X handle of conservative Dutch political commentator Eva Vlaardingerbroek, who is calling on European people to embrace ‘remigration.’ She welcomed Orbán’s support, stating 

The man, the legend, Viktor Orbán, has just endorsed the @SaveEuropeAct.

And he’s right: this is our chance. Let’s show Brussels who’s boss.

Previously, Vlaardingerbroek’s views earned her a ban from entering the UK. initiated by the Starmer government.
