Violence broke out in the streets of Paris several hours after Wednesday’s UEFA Champions League semi-final match between Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) and Arsenal.
A car was set alight after driving into football fans celebrating Paris Saint-Germain’s Champions League victory in the French capital. No information has yet been shared about the fate of the driver. At least three supporters were injured, one seriously.
According to French and international reports as well as social media information, PSG football hooligans “devastated” the French capital after the victory of their club over the Gunners, clashing with riot police that teargassed them.

At least 44 people have been arrested, French news outlet BFMTV reported.
