Under new leader Zack Polanski, the Green Party is polling ahead of Labour in a new survey of voter intentions.
Polanski’s outfit secured 17% of voter support and moved into second place, behind Reform UK which leads on 32%. Labour and the Conservatives are tied at 16% while the Liberal Democrats remain on a projected 12% vote share.
The survey of 3,065 adults by Find Out Now reflects growing momentum for the Greens, whose membership recently exceeded 150,000. Newly elected leader Polanski calls for action on lowering bills and taxing billionaires.
The result marks another setback for Labour, following its lowest-ever rating in a YouGov poll earlier this week. Polanski, a self-described “eco-populist” and trans advocate, has defended the party’s wealth tax proposals, aimed at reducing inequality rather than funding public investment.
