Whether Bardella or Le Pen, a national conservative leader would secure maximum vote share if an election was held tomorrow.

New polling shows a commanding lead for Rassemblement National (RN) in the upcoming 2027 presidential election.

The poll, an Ifop-Fiducial survey—conducted for Le Figaro, LCI, and Sud Radio—shows Jordan Bardella at his highest personal rating with voters. However, if the RN were to enter the contest with Marine Le Pen as the presidential candidate, there would be little difference in outcome.

The survey follows previous polling—conducted in the immediate aftermath of riots, looting, and clashes with police following Paris Saint-Germain’s Champions League victory—which saw Bardella hit an earlier record high.

Other declared presidential candidates include Gabriel Attal, Jean-Luc Mélenchon, Raphaël Glucksmann, and Bruno Retailleau. While Édouard Philippe is expected to formally declare in an address on July 5th, Bardella now looks set to remain the pollsters’ front-runner. In other words, the nationalist RN’s qualification for the second round of voting is virtually guaranteed.
