A pole dancing event took place in the Berlin district of Prenzlauer Berg on Saturday in front of several elementary school children. Among other things, a man wearing only a G-string in front of the minors.

A company called “Mutti Pole Wear” hosted the event in the form of a “pole dancing flash mob.” The clothing company sells special “outfits” for pole dancers. Tickets could be purchased in advance through an online retailer, which also offered tickets specifically for children.

The event took place on Saturday afternoon from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. in the Kollwitzkiez neighborhood, known for its large number of children. There are numerous video recordings of the event that show several very scantily clad men and women dancing one after the other on a pole, including spreading their legs, pressing their breasts together and performing other sexual gestures.

One of the pole dancers even specifically highlights on her Instagram story that “no children were traumatized.”
