Elections were held in ten municipalities across Serbia on Sunday, with President Aleksandar Vučić declaring victory for the governing parties in all districts.

Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić announced a clean sweep for the coalition led by the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS)–of which he is a member and former leader–in all ten municipalities where regular local elections took place.

Ivica Dačić, president of the Socialist Party of Serbia (SPS), thanked voters on Sunday evening for supporting the joint coalition list formed by his party and the SNS.

“This is a vote for the stability and future of Serbia. … I congratulate Aleksandar Vučić and the SNS on the success of our joint list.”

Miloš Vučević, the current president of the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS), also posted a brief message on X:

“10/10 – Thank you, Serbia.”

The elections were marred by mutual accusations of violence. While student activists reported that their observers were threatened and pepper-sprayed, the SNS accused the opposition of harassment, with police arresting four people over an alleged assault on a ruling party member.
