Swedish gang figure Emin Muqa Kulic has been arrested in Spain over the weekend, according to reports from SVT Nyheter.
The 21-year-old Swedish national is described by police as a senior figure in the Stockholm-based Dalen criminal network and a close associate of the group’s alleged leader, Mikael “Greken” (“The Greek”) Tenezos. Kulic was detained in the coastal town of Sitges after being placed on Europol’s most-wanted list in May 2026.
He is wanted in Sweden in connection with several serious crimes, including alleged involvement in instigating and assisting murder, attempted murder, weapons offenses, and bomb attacks.
Police had previously believed Kulic was hiding in Mexico, where he was suspected of staying alongside Tenezos before Tenezos was arrested there in October 2025.
The arrest is considered significant for Swedish investigations into the Dalen network, which authorities say has been weakened following the detention of several key members.
Swedish police declined to comment on the case and referred questions to Spanish authorities. The arrest is the latest in a series of international operations targeting Swedish criminal networks whose members have sought refuge abroad.
