Swedish media reported that according to eyewitnesses, during the violence that erupted as people were watching Ivory Coast play against Norway on June 30th in Copenhagen, Swedish off-duty policeman Christian Zedig was violently assaulted by a man “of immigrant background.”
Several people who were at the scene have stated that one of the assailants jumped on the 32-year-old police officer’s head during the assault. Witnesses have also reported that three people left the scene after the attack.
While the Danish police have not confirmed these reports, several social media posts claim the alleged perpetrator has an extensive rap sheet, including rape charges.
Patriots for Europe issued a statement on social media on July 3rd, with the hashtag #europeanlivesmatter, declaring
European have had enough.
