Israel’s prime minister will meet President Trump amid renewed nuclear diplomacy with Iran and sharp warnings exchanged on both sides.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is set to meet U.S. President Donald Trump in Washington on Wednesday, February 11th, to discuss recent indirect talks between the United States and Iran over Tehran’s nuclear program.

Netanyahu has stressed that any agreement must also curb Iran’s ballistic missile capabilities and end its support for allied militant groups across the region.

The U.S. and Iran held indirect negotiations in Oman on Friday, which appeared to make little progress. Trump described the talks as positive and said further discussions were planned, even as Washington has increased its military presence in the region and warned it could use force if Iran refuses to reach a deal.
