According to the U.S. president, his operations have been so effective that NATO support is now unnecessary.

U.S. president Donald Trump announced on Tuesday, March 17th that American forces “no longer need” military assistance from allies in the ongoing conflict with Iran.

The statement follows several days of lobbying other countries to help reopen the Strait of Hormuz to oil traffic, a vital route for global crude shipments, which has been disrupted amid rising tensions in the Middle East.

Trump posted on Truth Social

The United States has been informed by most of our NATO ‘Allies’ that they don’t want to get involved with our Military Operation against the Terrorist Regime of Iran.

Because of the fact that we have had such Military Success, we no longer ‘need,’ or desire, the NATO Countries’ assistance—WE NEVER DID! Likewise, Japan, Australia, or South Korea. WE DO NOT NEED THE HELP OF ANYONE!”

The U.S.-Israeli campaign has intensified over the past three weeks, targeting Iranian leadership, military installations, and weapons production sites.
