The US and the European Union cooperate in the regulation of the AI and big-tech industries.

EU states have backed a joint statement with the U.S. on cooperation in trade of semiconductor technology. They would also jointly regulate the AI and big tech industries, EUobserver reports.

The EU and U.S. held inaugural talks on the project on Wednesday. France pushed to strike out a commitment to a second meeting in 2022 and on “mutual dependence” on semiconductors.
