The second round of voting in Brazil’s presidential elections is set to take place on the 30th of October.

With just over a week left, the once substantial gap between the two candidates seems to have closed dramatically, now at about 0.4%.

This is according to the survey data produced by Futura Inteligência, which finds that Lula would win with 46.9% of the vote, compared to Bolsonaro’s 46.5%.

Crucially, however, this is well within the poll’s 2.2% margin of error.
