Alberto Garzoni is a doctoral candidate at the University of Oxford, where he researches political Augustinianism and Catholic social teaching. In addition to his scholarly work, he serves in the UK as chairman of Catholics in the Conservative Party. He is also politically active in his native Lombardy, where he is the founder and president of a cultural society, named after Vincenzo Gioberti, aiming to revive the Catholic confederalist tradition in Italian politics.
