Six Injured in Migrant Centre Shooting in Bosnia

A shooting incident at the Blazuj migrant reception centre left six injured on Monday, May 27th. Local police have stated that several suspects were apprehended following a mass shooting.

According to Mersiha Novalic of the Sarajevo Canton Police Administration, 

Police have questioned witnesses and several … suspects who are currently being processed [in a case being treated as attempted murder].

Of the wounded, one is from Pakistan and the five others are from Afghanistan. Reportedly, some of the shooters are suspected members of the Afghan criminal group BWK. This appears to be the second shooting in less than a week in the refugee camp at Blazuj.
