Effectively banned in Germany, the controversial ‘migrant crime’ movie is now available worldwide online.

For at least 24 hours from when it was first uploaded on Elon Musk’s X account, Citizen Vigilante can be watched for free online.

The film’s German director, Uwe Boll, has condemned the decision by his national film industry to block his new movie—which he says is linked to its portrayal of migrants as violent criminals.

On-off trillionaire Musk posted a link to the film on Jun 25, 2026. To date the X-post has 9.5M views, although it’s not public how many of those users of the site formerly known as Twitter went on to watch the whole film.

However, it’s slightly wrong to write of the ‘whole film.’ As one X-user (219.2k views) replied to Musk:

Repost the end credits too.

hat is the most important message of this movie!

It’s not that “@T0N3N3” wants us to know who the film’s Key Grip is; (s)he wants us to read Citizen Vigilante’s closing title card:

This film is dedicated to the thousands of rape and murder victims in Europe who were betrayed by our legal system.
