After becoming a major hit in other parts of Britain, the song by the Welsh Wrexham Unite music project titled ‘Deport the F.cking Lot’ is now going viral in Northern Ireland, too.

The lyrics of the song, now also available on major streaming platforms like Spotify, have clearly hit home with the Northern Irish, in particular following the incident in which a Sudanese migrant viciously attacked Stephen Ogilvie. The apparent beheading attempt, in which the victim lost an eye and eyesight in the other eye, led to violent protests.

As evidence of a rising anti-migration sentiment across the UK, lyrics videos and various renditions of the song are spreading unstoppably on social media. The strength of the song is perhaps not in its aesthetic value, but in the brutal honesty of its lyrics.
