On Tuesday, September 30th, a source close to the Hamas terrorist organization said that the group is reviewing U.S. president Donald Trump’s proposal for ending the Gaza conflict.
The source, speaking on condition of anonymity, said:
Hamas has begun a series of consultations within its political and military leaderships, both inside Palestine and abroad. The discussions could take several days due to the complexities of communication among leadership members and movements, especially after the Israeli aggression in Doha.
Amid uncertainty within the terrorist organization’s ranks, the Kremlin expressed its support for Trump’s 20–point plan to end the war in Gaza. Moscow spokesman Dmitry Peskov told a daily briefing call:
Russia always supports and welcomes any efforts by President Trump aimed at ending this ongoing tragedy…. Of course, we want this plan to be implemented and for it to help bring events in the Middle East to a peaceful conclusion.
