According to the regional military administration, at least one person was killed and sixteen others, including two children, were wounded in Russian on Zaporizhzhia carried out on the night of Friday to Saturday. Residential houses and other buildings including gas stations, and were damaged.
The central Ukrainian region of Dnipropetrovsk was targeted early Saturday morning, with explosions heard in the Dnipro and Pavlograd areas. Residents were advised to seek shelter.
Until now, Dnipropetrovsk had largely been spared from heavy fighting. However, on Tuesday, Kyiv confirmed that Russian troops had entered the region. Unlike Donetsk, Kherson, Luhansk, Zaporizhzhia, and Crimea, Dnipropetrovsk is not among the five Ukrainian regions that Moscow officially considers part of Russia.
