Iran had responded on Sunday to Washington’s latest peace plan, warning it would not hesitate to retaliate against any new U.S. strikes and would not allow additional foreign warships in the Strait of Hormuz.

“We will never bow down to the enemy, and if there is talk of dialogue or negotiation, it does not mean surrender or retreat,” Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian posted on X.

According to state broadcaster IRIB, Iran’s response, passed through Pakistani mediators, focused on ending the war “on all fronts, especially Lebanon” and “ensuring shipping security,” though few further details were disclosed.
