Zelensky “Ready” To Join Budapest Summit

The Ukrainian president called Putin a "terrorist," and opined that Ukraine "will not lose this war, and Putin will not win."

The Ukrainian president called Putin a "terrorist," and opined that Ukraine "will not lose this war, and Putin will not win."

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy told NBC News’ Meet the Press program in an interview recorded on Friday that he is prepared to travel to Budapest, where President Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin are expected to meet in the coming weeks to discuss the war in Ukraine.

In the interview Zelensky said Trump needs to put even more pressure on Putin than he did on Hamas during his succcesful talks to secure a ceasefire in Gaza.

Putin is something similar, but stronger than Hamas

said Zelensky.

The Ukrainian president called Putin a “terrorist,” and opined that Ukraine “will not lose this war, and Putin will not win.” He stated that escalating the airstrikes,” Zelensky added, stating that Putin wants “an energy catastrophe this winter by attacking us.” He also insisted Ukraine should not “give anything additional to Putin,” and needs “to stay where we are.”
