The Islamic Consultative Assembly's speaker said the International Atomic Agency refused to “eveb marginally condemn the attack on Iran’s nuclear facilities.”

Iranian lawmakers voted Wednesday, June 25th, in favour of suspending cooperation with the United Nations’ nuclear watchdog after a 12-day war that saw Israeli and U.S. strikes on nuclear facilities.

“The International Atomic Energy Agency, which refused to even marginally condemn the attack on Iran’s nuclear facilities, put its international credibility up for auction,” Iran’s parliament speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf said according to the Iranian state television. The speaker announced “the Atomic Energy Organisation of Iran will suspend its cooperation with the IAEA until the security of the nuclear facilities is guaranteed.”

The IAEA on June 12th said Iran had breached its non-proliferation obligations, after which Israel urged the international community to “respond decisively” to the IAEA report and prevent Iran from developing nuclear weapons, before launching attacks on Iran the next day.
