Shocking new youth unemployment figures have intensified accusations that Britain’s political establishment has sacrificed the life chances of young Britons through mass immigration.
A new report from the Centre for Social Justice argues that mass immigration is fuelling Britain’s youth worklessness crisis, with 27 young non-EU migrants hired for every young Briton since 2020.
The report also reveals that while the number of non-EU workers aged under 25 on UK payrolls rose by 355% since January 2020, the young British workforce grew by just 0.3%.
One million young people are NEET.

Today, we reveal a factor that has been long overlooked: uncontrolled immigration.
New CSJ research reveals that since 2020, for every young Brit hired, 27 young non-EU migrants were employed.

Conservative MP Sir Iain Duncan Smith stressed that “young people in this country have endless potential and yet the choices made by governments of all stripes have locked so much of it away.”
GB News presenter and former Conservative MP Miriam Cates added that the research suggests immigration is “at least as important as welfare policy and employment costs in keeping British young adults out of work.”
It is also proof that “mass migration is an attack on the interests and life chances of British people,” according to the Centre for Migration Control, which added:
This island is becoming little more than an economic sandbox for the ideologues of Whitehall, doggedly pursuing a post-nation model of governance.
The report urges government officials not to “duck the role of immigration” in driving up youth unemployment. But after decades of treating mass immigration as untouchable, Britain’s political class shows little sign of changing course.
