British prime minister Keir Starmer has just a matter of months until he will be forced to leave office, Reform UK leader Nigel Farage has predicted.
Starmer admitted in February that he knew senior Labour figure Peter Mandelson had remained in contact with Jeffrey Epstein following the latter’s conviction for child sex offences when he appointed him U.S. ambassador.
Today, April 20th, he told MPs that he “inadvertently” misled Parliament when he said Mandelson had cleared his security checks, which he had not.
If I had known … I would not have gone ahead with the appointment.
Conservative politicians have asked how it could have been possible for the PM not to know that Mandelson failed his vetting. Conservative Party chairman Kevin Hollinrake said, “he is either a liar or completely incompetent and has no idea what was happening in his own government.”
Farage added ahead of the address that “enough is enough. It’s time to get Starmer out. Let’s get rid of this awful, unpatriotic prime minister.” Reform has launched a petition calling on the Labour leader to resign.
The Prime Minister has misled Parliament and lied to the public.

MPs from all opposition parties have been especially keen to remind Starmer that in 2022 he urged former PM Boris Johnson to resign after he misled the House of Commons.
But for now, Starmer is blaming everyone around him for the error, and refusing to step down, his spokesman saying on Monday that the PM now “could not be clearer” about the matter.
