A young British Christian, pro-life, and remigration activist who goes by the name of Young Bob says he was assaulted by a group of men while conducting a public debate stand on immigration in Manchester on Monday.

In a post on X, the activist said a group of “foreign lads” approached him from behind, dragged him to the ground, and punched and kicked him during the incident. He said he lost consciousness during the assault and was later treated by paramedics before going to hospital with injuries including cuts, bruises, and suspected concussion.

Young Bob, who is known on social media for organizing public debate stands on political issues, said some of his equipment was damaged or stolen during the incident.

The activist further said members of the anti-racism campaign group Stand Up to Racism were holding a counter-protest nearby and were “egging on” his attackers and filming the incident. He criticised police for allegedly failing to obtain footage from those present.

Members of that protest later took to X to claim that Young Bob was assaulted for “hate speech.” In response, Bob said in his X post “This is absolute nonsense and the same stunt that got Henry Nowak killed, claiming racism after a gang of foreigners attacked you.”

In a separate post, Young Bob shared video footage which he said showed the beginning of the confrontation.

According to Young Bob, police reached the location around five minutes after the assault. No official statement regarding the incident had been issued at the time of writing.

The activist said he would not be deterred by the assault, but is planning a manifestation for remigration at the exact location where he was attacked, because, he said, “This is England. I do not want [it] to become a demographically replaced hellhole.”
